Martin has been teaching outdoor skills in a group setting since 2015, and has presented to Boy Scouts, American Heritage Girls, home school co-ops, and at events for the local parks department, among others. Topics of past presentations have included-
-Fire making, including fire lays, safety, and ignition methods such as ferro rod, flint and steel, and friction.
-Edged tool use and safety.
-Making cordage from plant fiber.
-Basic knots and lashings.
-Archery basics.
